Codi Network chief warns about loss of US regional hegemony

Santo Domingo, Jul 26 (Prensa Latina) The United States is currently showing a loss of its regional hegemony, among other things, due to its actions such as the one recently taking place in Cuba, the Codi Network Director Juan Carlos Espinal said on Monday.

In statements to Prensa Latina, Espinal enlightened how the US supports and finances those who try to destabilize Cuba and also supports the economic blockade that is increasingly alienating the United States from its neighbors.

The rejection of the US blockade against Cuba is majority, 184 nations voted in favor of its end and only two countries (the US and Israel) were against, and despite everything, the United States continues to impose its blockade against Cuba, harming its (the US) relations with Latin America and the Caribbean. As for Cuba, which is currently undergoing a major media hype, Espinal said that it is impossible to hide Cuba’s breakthroughs even amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

We are talking about a Cuban-made vaccine against Covid-19: Abdala, and other four vaccine candidates, in addition to other breakthroughs.

These achievements are quite obvious, and all these create a new geopolitical order across the Americas.

The United States is losing allies and over 600 million Latin American and Caribbean consumers are alienating from it every day.
