Trump’s big lie about electoral fraud persists in US

Washington, Jul 28 (Prensa Latina) More than six months after Joe Biden took office as the President of the United States, much of Republicans currently continue to believe that the Democrat was illegitimately elected.

According to a poll spreading on digital media, 66 percent of the Republicans are convinced in the theory of electoral fraud, a lie perpetuated by former President Donald Trump (2017-2021), underscoring his persistent control over his party’s voters.

Most Republicans want that the former president has at least certain influence in the leadership of the red force, even when many of those who align with that political organization say they are uneasy about his future, the poll highlights.

While most of the former presidents tend to cede prominence after leaving office, the magnate tries to reaffirm his power, holding rallies, making explicit his support and jokes about the possibility of running for President again in 2024.
