The specialized tourism agency Ecotur noted that the meeting is scheduled for December 13 to 15 and it will addresses one of the most repeated interests by workers in Cuba’s travel industry.

At the meeting, destinations like Gibara and La Mensura National Park in Pinares de Mayari will be promoted.

The opening will be devoted to theoretical sessions and later excursions will be made to places of ecological interest, always following the protocols established for health protection against Covid-19.

The Bahia del Almirante Hotel will host speeches at the beginning of the important meeting, sources said.

The Spanish newsletter Buenviajeacuba highlights this proposal, as well as a round of conferences and presentations of tourist products, and commercial exchange of participants.

In addition, tours of rural areas are organized, including visits to the Cerro Galano protected area, the Alcala farm, the Cacoyugüín river, and Los Panaderos cave.

Biotur is a way to approach Cuba’s ideal conditions for nature and adventure tourism, which above all has its most attractive features in the eastern region of the country, organizers (comercial@hlg.ecotur.tur.cu) emphasized.
