Baerbock considered that the new ministry would ensure compliance with the commitments made by this country under the Paris Agreement on climate change.

The presentation was made by the leader of the Green alliance, together with co-chairman Robert Habeck, by speaking about an environmental protection program in the Biesenthal nature reserve in the northwestern part of the city.

According to the environmentalist leader, it is necessary to promote more green energy programs at affordable prices to reduce harmful emissions, especially in the case of transportation, industry and the use of heating, she said.

The Green coalition is in second place in the polls for the September election, second only to the ruling conservative alliance of the Christian Democratic Union and the Christian Social Union.
