The solidarity committee said that the Cuban Embassy in France was victim of Molotov-cocktail attack on July 26.

‘This deplorable act is, among others, the result of anti-Cuban campaigns orchestrated from Washington and is part of the violence generated by the United States promoting hatred and increasing tensions,’ the committee stated.

It also judged that the action conducted by Mr. Washington Abdala, as representative of the Uruguayan government at the Organization of American States (OAS), whose purpose was to generate a political and media incident, was an irresponsible and functional act to anti-Cuban interests.
