Members and union leaders rallied in front of the US Embassy to demand the end to destabilizing actions against Cuba and express their solidarity with its Government and people.

During the rally Union President Ali R Za Kucukosmanoglu emphasized that Cuba has never bent to US imperialism, despite countless attacks organized from Washington.

He accused the White House of subjecting the peoples of the world to all kinds of oppression and of being responsible for numerous wars and massacres.

Kucukosmanoglu said that the United States is a threat to the human race and is the cause of countless evils in the Middle East and Latin America.

In addition, he denounced the tightening of Washington’s economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba, and recalled the hundreds of plans to assassinate the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro.

He pointed out that Cuba has the support of the World Federation of Trade Unions, which called for demonstrations to protest against the constant provocations against Cuba.
