The source reported on statements by MP Abolfazl Amouei, of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, who said that the Islamic Republic is not ready to sacrifice itself so that the United States returns to the JCPOA.

In any case, he added, Washington must recognize Iranian rights, otherwise, he stressed, it will oppose that the United States returns to the pact.

Tehran insisted that it will resume its nuclear obligations after the oppressive measures imposed under the administration of President Donald Trump, who in 2018, withdrew the northern nation from the pact sealed in 2015, were totally removed.

The Biden administration continues to follow Trump’s policy, despite promises to undo his predecessor’s actions and return to the deal.
