Misleading the Folketing (Danish Parliament) addsto such actions, so the justice approved the trial in January after an agreement by a legislative commission was approved by vast majority.

For the first time in three decades and sixth time in 171 years, the country faces a trial of this magnitude.

Only twice, the ‘impeachment’ resulted in a conviction, with a maximum sentence of two years in prison.

In 2016, amid the European migration crisis, Stolberg ordered the separation of all married couples seeking asylum and granted that power to the Directorate-General for Migration, a measure that affected 23 couples, mostly people with similar ages.
