According to national television, the radicals of the so-called Levant Liberation Board -formerly Al Nousra Front- carried out the attack with dozens of rockets and artillery shells from their positions in Idlib.
Such actions of the radicals, according to the media, targeted the localities of Jid, Bahsa and Rassif in the same province, without any human casualties.
In addition to causing material losses in the homes and properties of locals, the impact of the projectiles caused fires in forests and agricultural lands, which were controlled by the fire department.
In response to these hostile actions, regular Syrian Army forces responded with artillery fire against the terrorists, while Russian aircraft destroyed several rocket platforms of the radical groups.
In Idlib, extremist organizations frequently bombard military positions and civilian communities in violation of the ceasefire declared by Turkey and Russia in that province.
In its operations during 2020, the Syrian Army managed to free 56 percent of Idlib, so terrorists currently control less than half of it, where they are holding hundreds of thousands of civilians as human shields.
