We will wait and see how the new authorities in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, will act and how they intend to keep their commitments, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said in an interview with Bloomberg television.
Shoukry assured that Afghanistan would be at the top of the list of issues to be discussed in the coming hours during a meeting of Arab foreign ministers in Cairo.
About this issue, the foreign minister considered that the region ‘is going through a very turbulent and volatile situation that does not contribute to achieving security and stability.’
As an example, the head of Egyptian diplomacy cited the conflicts in Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and Libya.
