The Russian politician pointed out that Moscow considers that it is not part of the problems of war and peace in that southeastern Ukrainian region.
‘Nothing has changed here, we have repeated it many times at different levels,’ he said, according to TASS news agency.
He explained that, on the issue, Russia can discuss with Kiev only the basis of the implementation of provisions included in Minsk agreements.
On Sunday, the spokesman for Ukrainian President Sergei Nikiforov, said that Zelensky is willing to meet with Putin at any time to debate on the territories that his government does not control.
