In a message on Twitter, on the occasion of the ‘International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste’, the Supreme Pontiff pointed out that ‘discarding food means discarding people.’

In that sense, Pope Francis noted that it is outrageous not to realize how precious food is and like much riches it ends badly.
