Iran disqualifies Israel from talking about nuclear issues.

Iran disqualifies Israel from talking about nuclear issues.

Teherán, oct 5 (Prensa Latina) Today Iran disqualified Israel as interlocutor in nuclear issues due to its lack of respect for international regulations and for being the only country in western Asia in possession of such weapons.

That was the answer from Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh to the comment made by the Israeli Prime Minister about Teheran allegedly crossing the red lines.

‘Between Iran and Israel only the Islamic Republic complies with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and adheres to international law to maintain a peaceful program’, he added

Despite the retoric of the Israeli Prime Minister, his secret service has more appropiate criteria.

The head of Israeli military intelligence, Tamir Hayman, affirmed that although Tehran has enriched uranium to 60 percent purity, no progress has been made in the manufacture of weapons, he said.

Iran reiterated that it has no ambition to be a nuclear power and its authorities agree with a decision of the supreme religious leader, Ali Khamenei, to consider nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction a threat to humanity and to ban them.
