According to statements by Sonia Gonzalez, head of Primary Healthcare Department in the territory, more than 11,000 of 14,000 convalescing Covid-19 patients were also vaccinated with Soberana Plus, a strategy that, she said, is positively progressing.

Pregnant women, vulnerable and geographically distant groups, and the pediatric population, especially prior to the resumption of the school year, are priorities in this province.

‘More than 7,000 children and adolescents have already received at least one dose of the vaccines, and we aim to cover the rest of the children before the year ends,’ the specialist said.

Precisely, the joint work between the Ministries of Health and Education allows improving the process, the doctor said.
