Paraguay plans to eliminate hourly traffic restrictions

Asuncion, Oct 8 (Prensa Latina) Authorities of Paraguay's Executive Power met today to analyze the sanitary measures in force until October 12 and foresee that the new decree would eliminate the hourly traffic restriction.

The Minister of Health Julio Borba stated that such restriction could be eliminated in the early morning hours, a decision which would be taken for the significant decrease in Covid-19 cases registered in the country, and also of patients admitted to the hospital, the local agency IP reported.

The current sanitary measures imposed to stop the pandemic allow the practice of collective sports and amateur level competitions, as well as sports classes behind closed doors, respecting distancing, and in the open air.

In the case of recreational and cultural activities, they are allowed with a capacity of up to 50 percent of the capacity of each place.
