Six Israeli F-16 fighters fired from Tanef, in eastern Syria, 12 guided missiles against T-4 airfield located on the road between Homs and Palmyra, in central Syria, according to Vadim Kulit, deputy director of Russian Coordination Center, based in the Hmeymim base, in Latakia province.
Mr. Kulit stated the Syrian Armed Forces shot down eight Russian-made Pántsir-S1 missiles.
On September 3, the antiaircraft batteries shot down 21 out of 24 missiles before hitting the outskirts of Damascus.
