In a letter addressed to the UN Security Council (UNSC), Venezuelan Ambassador Samuel Moncada warned about purposes of generating a tense situation to involve Venezuela in an armed conflict, the Foreign Ministry reported in a press release.

Moncada warned that Colombia is trying to export its internal conflict to Venezuela in order to exempt its responsibility for failing the peace process.

‘The danger is growing and the signs of despair in the Colombian government are clear,’ Moncada said in his letter to UNSC.
