President of Cuba highlights transformation in vulnerable communities

Havana, Oct 12 (Prensa Latina) The President of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel praised the work being undertaken by authorities in the country's vulnerable communities, where dwellings, schools and other structures of high socio-cultural impact.

The President Tweeted exposing that the territorial authorities ‘are turning more dynamic and the Socialist state companies are retaking the unavoidable social responsibility that must characterize them in our development model.’

Díaz-Canel called recently to make systemic the work of transformation in 62 communities in Havana considered vulnerable and strengthen the work to improve the quality of life of the population.

He pointed out that, although the country does not have all the resources needed, the budget has some allocated to social programs that must be prioritized based on the direct dialogue with the citizenship.
