The country thus totals 926,320 diagnosed since March 11, 2020 and 7,956 deaths, national director of epidemiology of the Health Ministry, Francisco Durán, said in his usual morning television appearance.

33,953 people remain admitted, of them 17,957 Covid-19 suspects, 2,485 in epidemiological surveillance and 13,511 with the active virus, a significant reduction by 1,753 cases compared to the previous day, Duran stressed.
