Dominican ex-convicts deported from the US

Santo Domingo, Oct 20 (Prensa Latina) A total of 41 Dominicans who served sentences for various crimes in the United States arrived in this capital deported by US Immigration and Customs authorities, as revealed today.

Deportees arrived at Las Américas airport from US city of Alexandria, escorted by federal agents, who handed them over to the General Department of Migration, Drug Control and the Specialized Airport Security Corps.

Upon arrival at the air terminal, they underwent rigorous examinations by the immigration and health authorities before being put on buses that took them to the Deportation Retention Center, located in Haina.
