The figure obtained is the difference between hirings, which reached 1,780,161, and dismissals (1,466,259).

This figure of the assessed period is also 14.7 percent less than that notified in August, the second best month of 2021, with 368,091 jobs.

Brazil created a total of 2,512,937 formal jobs in the first nine months of this year.

All the economic groups have a positive balance. The service sector was the most outstanding for it created 143,418 new jobs, followed by the industry one, with 76,169.

According to experts, the standardization of the Brazilian economy, with the reopening of services and the recovery of industry, should boost end-of-year rise in hirings and encourage the decline in the unemployment rate to less than two digits in the coming months.
