Cuba expresses solidarity with India for victims of natural phenomena

New Delhi, Oct 28 (Prensa Latina) Cuba expressed its solidarity with India on the occasion of the victims caused by the recent natural phenomena that have hit different regions of the country, a diplomatic source stated on Thursday.

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez sent a message to his Indian counterpart, Mr. Ram Nath Kovind, in which he expressed his most sincere condolences, on behalf of the Cuban people and Government, due to the regrettable loss of human lives and material damage caused by heavy rains and landslides in several states.

The Cuban president also extended his condolences to the families and relatives of the victims.

The regions of Kerala and Uttarakhand in India have been affected by heavy rainfall, which caused floods and landslides, resulting in hundreds of deaths and several material losses.
