The head of consular affairs at the Cuban Embassy, Odalys Capote, explained topics of interest with an impact on the Cuban community to the participants.

She also presented a summary of the activities with Cuban residents in the past two years.

During the meeting, the diplomat clarified concerns and doubts about the most recent decisions made by Cuba’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

For his part, Ambassador Alexander Pellicer highlighted the importance of these meetings, which, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, had been suspended in the past two years.

Pellicer reaffirmed the Cuban government’s willingness to deepen and strengthen ties with Cubans who reside abroad to integrate them into the country’s new economic dynamics that offers investment oportunites in several sectors.

Participants showed their respect and love for Cuba and condemned the United States policy of blockade and economic suffocation against Cuba since 1962.
