New rise in deaths from Covid-19 in sub-Saharan Africa

Nairobi, Nov 5 (Prensa Latina) Deaths from Covid-19 in sub-Saharan Africa have risen in the last 24 hours, the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDPC) reported on Friday.

Health services reported 257 deaths for a total of 219,017, the CDPC’s press release indicates.

Contagions with the deadly disease in this part of the world reached 8,519,500 cases after the detection on Thursday of 4,018 new patients with the SARS-CoV-2 virus and its variants.
