Covid-19 infections in rise again in sub-Saharan Africa

Nairobi, nov 9 (Prensa Latina) After a peaceful weekend in relation to the ravages of the Covid-19 pandemic in sub-Saharan Africa, the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDPC) reported an increase in infections today.

In the last 24 hours 4,265 people contracted the disease after the infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus and its new variants, for a total of 8,538,002 positive cases.

However, deaths in the last 24 hours, 151, dropped compared to Sunday; the total number of people who died from causes related to the disease reached 219,624.
