The minister added that they detected an object in the space by mistake; the claim that there were two launches contradicted the reports by DPRK’s state media.

The Japanese minister concluded, afted checking data, that the object detected by his radar was mistaken for a ballistic missile.

DPRK’s Central News Agency reported on those weapons, which are a new type of missiles with advanced control guidance technologies, including flank and sliding jump mobility.

The launch was condemned by Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida as “very regretable” and a violation of the resolutions of the UN Security Council.
