Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stressed the Islamic Republic’s willingness to restore what was signed in the pact in 2015.
With that premise, he added, the Iranian delegation will attend the round of talks scheduled for November 29 in Vienna, Austria.
Those talks were on hold in June pending the Iranian presidential elections, in which Ebrahim Raisi won.
Earlier, Iran and the remaining signatories (the United Kingdom, France, Russia, China and Germany) held six rounds of talks aimed at finding a formula so that the United States can return to the treaty it abandoned in 2018.
Tehran welcomes the resumption of the nuclear talks, although under the principle that negotiating just for the sake of negotiating is not acceptable and demands that the anti-Iranian coercive measures implemented by Washington are eliminated.
