Young art joins celebrations for the 502 years of Havana

Havana, nov 10 (Prensa Latina) 'El Madrigazo' young art festival gets ready today to launch a new edition, this time dedicated to the 502nd anniversary of the foundation of the city of Saint Christopher of Havana.

Scheduled from November 12 to 14, the event will meet in the headquarters of the ‘Hermanos Saíz Association’ in the capital, promoting also a tribute to the 35 years of foundation of this entity that brings together the artistic avant-garde of the Island.

According to organizers, during the festival there will be concerts, theater featuring and dance shows; as well as meetings with Youth teachers like Senel Paz, Manuel López Oliva, Bobby Carcassés and Pancho García.

The collective exhibition ‘Caminos'(Roads) and the documentary ‘El Madrigazo 2021: La Historia’ are also included in the program of the event that will close with a concert by prestigious Cuban ‘tres’ guitar player Pancho Amat and his ‘Cabildo del Son’ group.

The government of the capital and the Ministry of Culture and Sports organized for the days before and after the foundation of the ‘Wonder City’, on November 16, numerous and varied artistic, sports and cultural activities to all communities.
