The Jartzz activities will have its main venue in Morelos, and will include an exhibition at the Morelos Contemporary Art Museum and the Teopanzolco Cultural Center.
According to the program, women in jazz, Mexican jazz, and youth and jazz, are the three issues that will mark the 11 concerts of the event.
The Secretariat of Culture of the federal government and that of Morelos, through the Los Pinos Cultural Complex in Mexico City, will have in this 2nd edition the collaboration of the Higher Music School at the National Fine Arts Institute, and the National Record Library.
The festival’s activities are part of the Los Pinos project en Morelos, which begins on Friday with a concert dedicated to the great women in jazz. Groups such as Ensamble Maestro, Cihuatl, Las Billies and Big Band will participate.
