The talks aimed at reviving that pact in crisis since the illegal withdrawal of the United States in 2018 will resume in Vienna, Austria, this Monday.

However, Bagheri Kani warned that, taking into account the experience, the West is not seeking to save the treaty, but to divert public perception in order to evade its commitments in any way possible.

In fact, he remarked, Germany, the United Kingdom and France, signatories to the JCPOA, will try to force Iran to give more concessions in areas unrelated to the nuclear issue.

Washington must take the first step and lift all anti-Iranian sanctions, he stressed.

However, US President Joe Biden continues in the same stance as his predecessor, Donald Trump, to insist on a mutual return in unison that Iran rejects, as it never violated the deal.
