Some 18,275 samples were analyzed at the Molecular Biology laboratories to detect the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, and 142 of them were positive.

Some 675 of 700 active cases in Cuba have a stable clinical evolution.

In addition, 25 people are in intensive care units, 11 of whom are in a critical state and 14 in a serious one.

According to the update, only one person died in the past 24 hours, so the death toll rose to 8,305 since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020.

Due to the 229 medical discharges, Cuba reports 953,566 recovered patients.

MINSAP has reported a total of 962,628 cases since March last year.
