Russia and India advocate for strengthening bilateral relations

Moscow, Dec 1 (Prensa Latina) Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday announced that, during his visit to India on Dec.6, he will discuss new initiatives to develop bilateral relations with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

At the ceremony of presentation of credentials by foreign ambassadors who arrived in Moscow recently, the president explained that the alliance between Russia and India has real benefits for both States, TASS news agency reported.

He said that trade between both countries shows a positive dynamic, whereas the cooperation is being developed in energy, innovation, space, the production of vaccines against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, the production of medicines and the creation of joint enterprises in the defense sector.

He said that India is one of the centers of the multipolar world, with a foreign policy philosophy and priorities similar to Russia’s. He added that he was convinced that, by supporting each other with solid traditions and mutual understanding, they will further improve bilateral relations.
