Cuba: 82.6 % of population received complete Covid-19 vaccine scheme

Havana, Dec 2 (Prensa Latina) Some 9,237,847 Cubans (82.6 percent of the population) have received the complete vaccination scheme against Covid-19, the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported on Thursday.

According to the MINSAP’s website, 10,175,287 citizens have received one dose of a Cuban-made vaccine, while 9,222,765 people got the second dose and 8,737,281 persons have been administered all three doses.

Therefore, the total doses of Cuban vaccines administered in Cuba amount to 28,485,574.

Currently, the MINSAP is administering a Covid-19 booster dose throughout the country.

The administration of a booster doses has been approved in 27 countries, including 12 Latin American nations.
