According to MINSAP Minister José Ángel Portal and Shah Abdulla Mahir, minister of state of Ministry of Health of Maldives, signed the agreement in sending a medical brigade to the Maldives.

A Maldivian delegation is currently paying a visit to Havana, with the purpose of strengthening ties with Cuba´s health system.

As part of the program, visitors toured the Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital, La Pradera International Health Center, Central Unit for Medical Cooperation and other health institutions.
