In the letter, addressed to UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, Ghali assured that the Polisario Front, which he leads, “will not be involved in any peace process while Morocco continues to impose its policy of terror against Sahrawi civilians in the occupied areas of Western Sahara”.

He also warned that the inaction and silence of the international community, in particular the UN, could lead the Polisario Front to take appropriate measures regarding its participation in the political process and cooperation with the United Nations Mission in Western Sahara.
