The Minister and his delegation will participate on Tuesday in the 6th bilateral Economic and Trade Commission, which was created to monitor the implementation of the economic agenda signed in February 2016, which will allow Paris and Havana to project lines of work for next year.

The Meeting of the Strategic Orientation Committee, in charge of managing and coordinating the Equity Fund established within the framework of the bilateral debt structuring agreement, will also meet.

Malmierca arrived on French soil on Sunday and will hold talks with local authorities during his stay, including the Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade, Franck Riester, businessmen and representatives of the French Development Agency.

France is among Cuba’s top 10 trading partners despite the extraterritorial impact of the US blockade.

The Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment also has a scheduled meeting with the Director General of UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay.
