Tehran and the 4+1 group (the United Kingdom, France, Russia and China plus Germany) resumed those talks to seek how the United States can return to the deal it illegally abandoned in 2018. However, the Tel Aviv regime, which applauded that US step, is carrying out interference actions to prevent Washington’s return and is lobbying European missions with that purpose.
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani told Al-Mayadeen that progress was made in the talks and there are possibilities of consensus between the parties.
Bagheri Kani confirmed that the Israelis are trying to sabotage that favorable atmosphere in an attempt to influence the results.
