At the event, the vice-president of the Council of Ministers of that Russian republic, Irina Kiviko, stressed that the exhibition dedicated to the 63rd anniversary of the revolutionary triumph in Cuba, on January 1, is of great importance, especially for the younger generations.
The also head of the Crimean section of the Russian Society of Friendship with Cuba (SRAC) referred to the values of the 1959 Revolution in the Caribbean island and stressed that events such as the recently opened exhibition will help to strengthen the ties of friendship with the Cuban people.
Kivico recalled that the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba is still in force and denounced Washington’s attempts to destabilize the situation in the Caribbean island.
