The Plast project JC Max is an option for the substitution of imports of irrigation systems in fields of various crops and vegetables, which in addition to saving thousands of dollars to the country, are designed to efficiently use water and optimize the consumption of electric power.
This was explained to Prensa Latina by mechanical engineer Juan Carlos Cabrera, at the head of that work team, which has already covered some 800 hectares of land in areas of Matanzas, Havana and Holguín with its means.
Cabrera stressed that so far they have three types of this product, which distributes water by micro-sprinkling, sprinkling and dripping; while they work on perfecting and creating new designs with the purpose of incorporating a greater area of reach and increasing irrigation efficiency, which is approximately 82 percent.
The engineer highlighted among the peculiarities of the micro-sprinkler that it is composed of a single piece, unlike the 15 used in foreign systems.
Furthermore, it does not have a built-in metal spring, required in the use of pumps with higher power than that recommended by them.
Also, they have extended their portfolio of offers to solutions of the housing program with the preparation of the hydraulic and electrical system of houses.
For its part, one of the 10 micro, medium and small companies attending the Forum is the state Center for Sociocultural Study and Development (Cedes), which promotes services aimed at managing processes, advising local governments and projects and studies market, among other activities.
Precisely, Cedes was among the speakers of the day today, with the presentation: “Management Consulting. We Make Your Idea Possible ”, which addressed the potential of the entity and its experience in the transition to a new economic model.
