India signs agreements with four countries to launch satellites

New Delhi, Dec 17 (Prensa Latina) The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has signed six agreements with four countries for launching foreign satellites during 2021 and 2023, it was disclosed in New Delhi on Friday.

Minister of State for Atomic Energy and Space Dr. Jitendra Singh said in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha (the Upper House of Parliament) that the country will earn 132 million Euros with these commercial agreements.

According to the minister, from 1999 to date, a total of 342 foreign satellites belonging to 34 countries have been successfully launched into space.
