Cuba advocates consolidating ties of friendship with Ghana

Havana, Dec 24 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the eve its will to expand relations and consolidate ties of friendship with the Republic of Ghana.

In a message on its official Twitter account, the Foreign Ministry also conveyed congratulations to the people and the Government of the African nation on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties.

Ghana was the first country in Sub-Saharan Africa to initiate relations with Havana after the revolutionary triumph of January 1959.

According to the portal of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, the ties fostered include the support of Cuba in the training of qualified professionals, and collaboration in the health sector.
