This was announced on its official website by the Finance Ministry, whose head, Ahmed Shide, assured that this budget has already been allocated and will be implemented when the House of People’s Representatives (Parliament) approves it.
Shide explained in a recent public appearance that the allocation responds to a request made to the Council of Ministers by the Executive Committee of the Rehabilitation Secretariat, which is precisely chaired by the Finance Ministry.
Also, he said, “significant financial support is expected from development partners, especially the World Bank.
Our rehabilitation program is government-led, coordinated and programmed at all levels, and aims to provide a lasting solution to the citizens affected by the armed conflict, he said.
The minister also urged all the nation’s regional states to “actively participate, cooperate with other national committees and involve the private sector and the diaspora in humanitarian assistance efforts.
