Iran pleased with progress of nuclear talks

Tehran, Dec 28 (Prensa Latina) Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdolahian today expressed satisfaction with the progress of nuclear talks between Tehran and five world powers to reactivate the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) or nuclear deal.

“The negotiations in Vienna, Austria, are on the right track, he added, and if all parties maintain good faith, we will reach a deal favorable to all.”

So far there is seriousness and goodwill, he noted, which augurs well for the conclusion of a good treaty.

IRNA news agency reported that the talks will continue until Thursday and there will be a break from December 31 to January 2.

Delegates from Iran and the 4+1 group (UK, France, Russia and China plus Germany) discuss the cancellation of coercive measures against the Islamic Republic the US Government imposed on the other signing nations, following its illegal exit from PIAC.
