The text, signed by the ambassador of the Middle East country in Havana, Mohamed Saleh Nasher, recognized the effort of the Antillean nation to overcome the challenges of this year, marked by Covid-19 and the resurgence of the coercive measures imposed by U.S.

“How happy it is to know that you are standing up after a year of so many difficulties!” says the document, which in turn highlights the “firmness, dignity and determination to move forward against Covid-19 and the unjust economic, commercial and financial blockade”.

The diplomat assured that, as up to now, Yemen will support Cuba in 2022, to face new challenges and celebrate 50 years of bilateral relations, “a friendship forged to stand all tests, from the heart,” he said.

“They shot it to kill, but the Cuban Revolution is still alive. Thanks for the example!”, The message emphasized.

The Cuban Revolution triumphed under the leadership of the historical leader Fidel Castro, and with it began a process of transformations to change the economic and social bases, with the human being as the center of development.

These days the country is starring in a wide program of cultural activities to commemorate the anniversary in parks, squares and neighborhoods.
