Our country’s frozen money should be released, it belongs to the people, not the current government, Nasima Amiri, a civil society activist, said.
The United States has to unfreeze the funds so that people can cope with the economic problems in the winter, Mahnaz Khadimi, a participant in the protest, said.
The protesters called on the international community to exert pressure on Washington to immediately release the Afghan money.
They also said that the flow of Afghan refugees to neighboring territories and Europe is rooted in economic problems.
They said that if this country does not receive economic support, migration will increase and have negative consequences on the stability of neighboring nations.
They also called on the United Nations and the World Bank to find a solution to the crisis affecting Afghanistan.
