In a letter from PVP General Secretary Humberto Vargas to the Cuban president and first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), Miguel Diaz-Canel, the Costa Rican communists conveyed their congratulations on the occasion of a new anniversary of the heroic Cuban Revolution.

“Fidel (Castro, the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution) – our remembered teacher and guide – paved the way for the new revolutionary possibilities that tend to expand in Our America,” the letter highlights.

Cuba, being invincible, has had the task of showing, to the peoples, that the empire is not invincible.

“It has earned the right to put before the eyes of the world the demonstration that brutal and genocidal power cannot prevent Cuba from earning the respect of the world, as evidenced by the repeated statements at the United Nations General Assembly against of the blockade,” the Costa Rican communists noted.
