The statement also praised Haitians´ freedom struggles and fighting spirits, an example spread across Latin America over 200 years ago, the desire for freedom and independence. Plus, the statement urged for the regional integration, the birthplace of Libertadores such as Alejandro Pétion, Touissant L’Odberture, Simón Bolívar and Francisco de Miranda.
Likewise, it encouraged to become the epicenter of peace, integration in diversity and freedom for the well-being of brother countries, as a genuine legacy of distinguished heroes.
