The initiative envisages the planning period of health services for 2023 and 2024, and takes into account the peculiarities of the health system in the context of the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Cabinet press team reported.

The program also provides funds for the costs of medical organizations conducting in-depth examinations for early detections of the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus, which causes the disease, and the study of aftereffects that allows initiating treatments in time.

The resolution signed by Mishustin includes a list of high-tech medical care using expensive procedures, including cardiovascular surgery, and the treatment of stroke patients.

The Cabinet of Ministers stressed that Russian citizens will continue to receive free care under the policy of compulsory medical insurance, which includes consultations with advanced and specialized technology.
