The head of the Iranian negotiating mission, Ali Baqeri Kani, announced that the countdown to a final agreement in the Vienna negotiations has begun and stressed that the talks are advancing and making progress.
The comments of the also deputy foreign minister follow meetings with representatives of the 4+1 group (United Kingdom, France, Russia and China plus Germany), signatory of the pact abandoned by the United States in May 2018.
In Baqeri Kani’s opinion, the contentious issues are decreasing and most of the participants confirmed that the negotiations are progressing favorably.
He also specified that differences began to narrow on how to lift the coercive measures imposed by Washington on Tehran, the main demand of the Persian nation in the talks.
