Iran reiterates commitment to deal if counterparts comply with it

Hossein-Amir-Abdolahian-300x169
Tehran, Jan 18 (Prensa Latina) Iran has reiterated on Tuesday its commitment to the original Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) or nuclear deal, if the counterparts comply with it.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian assured that this is the sense of participating in the talks in Vienna, Austria, dedicated that they comply with their obligations under the pact signed in 2015 between Tehran and six world powers.

During an interview with China Global Television Network, Amir-Abdollahian ratified that if the counterpart rejoins the nuclear deal’s obligations, Iran will do so.

According to the head of Iranian diplomacy, China expressed a constructive position in the talks in the Austrian capital during which it rejected the use of sanctions by the United States and condemned its intimidation practices.

In any case, he said, Russia and China, signatories of the JCPOA, supported Iran’s initiatives that so far the United Kingdom, France and Germany or the United States did not respond or present anything new.
